Under the kennel name of Laurelton has bred, owned and co-owned over 60 Smooth Fox Terrier AKC Champions since 1980, including Best in Show and National Specialty winners, as well as top producers such as Ch. Laurelton Now Or Never, #2 All-time Top SFT Sire and #1 All-time American=bred Smooth Fox Terrier Sire with 99 AKC Champions.

Virginia has been active in many areas of dogs and with dog clubs, and was approved to judge Smooth and Wire Fox Terriers until entering the publishing business, an ineligible occupation. She judged the Breed in SFT in 1999 at the National Specialty at Montgomery County KC, the premiere show for Terriers in the world.

Her interests, apart from dogs, are graphic arts and web design, photography, painting, sculpting and horses.
